My clean (uncluttered!) house

I had a housewarming open house last night for some friends who hadn't seen the place yet. I gave myself this deadline about a month ago so I could unpack the last few boxes, paint and get everything organized. I didn't quite succeed in all of those, but I can tell you my place looks fantastic. Everything had a place last night (including a few unpacked boxes tucked away behind my files so I couldn't see them!). As much as I enjoyed spending a wonderful evening with friends, I think I liked best the fact that my place finally looks settled. And those boxes back behind my files--well, they're blocking access to files I like to use on a regular basis, so it's a good incentive to to get them unpacked!
