Why does this always happen to me?

So I met a really nice guy last night. He's very kind and an outdoorsy sort of guy. He also had dark hair, my preference. We were hanging out and things seemed to be moving along very well. I was thinking that this relationship might actually go somewhere.

Alas, my alarm clock went off at 6:15 just when the relationship was starting to really progress.
