I drove to Hartford early, early yesterday morning on only 5 hours of sleep for a single's conference. I knew that I would have to take a nap before I drove home in order to make it safely. In the afternoon I pulled my car into a remote shaded area of the parking lot, rolled down the windows, pulled out my pillow and curled up on the backseat of my car. I was hoping I'd at least be able to doze as I have a hard time falling asleep during the day. Much to my surprise I was out in less than a minute and slept for two solid hours--dead asleep. I got home around 9:00 and slept 12 hours last night. That's unusual!

How was the conference?
It was ok--like most singles conferences. I'll blog about it this week sometime and provide more details.
