Pictures from Montana Trip

I finally got around to posting the pictures from my trip at the end of August. I guess I only got home 2 weeks ago, but it seemed like much longer ago.

My nieces E and K made some jewelry.

These are the earrings that K made. I really like them, so might make a pair for myself.
This is the necklace that E made--this is so her!

We went camping one night and this is the view around the time the sun went down. It looks almost like a painting instead of a photograph doesn't it? Maybe this captures to some small degree "Big Sky Country"
Can you guess what this is? I had some--it tasted kind of like chicken with a lot of spices. I've never had this before and probably won't again, but it tasted good.

Huckleberries are an important part of Montana agriculture and tourism. My sister and I went to a really good steak house and I had huckleberry ice cream for dessert. Yummy!
When I was a very small girl we used to come to this pond and feed the ducks. I don't remember that, but here's a picture for posterity's sake!
Here are 4 out of the 5. I'm not sure where K is.
R is thinking that it's hard to get everything on the right way when you're only 2 years old!
It was such a fun time and I have a lot of great memories.

What a fun time. I loved the jewelry pieces and they are so different, just like the girls. I also loved R putting on her jeans.
That Big Sky Country was your birthplace..glad you got to go visit it.

The jewelry turned out great! And I'm suddenly wishing for huckleberry ice cream even though I've never had it in my life. Now where to find it here...

Was that snake that you ate? You're braver than I am. It sounds like you had a wonderful time.

It was snake--rattlesnake to be precise. It tasted fine, it was just the thought of what I was eating that will prevent me from eating it again.
