My Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day...or not

By nature, I'm generally a cheerful person. On the rare occasions when I am cranky, it usually passes within a few minutes. But this morning I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. When the crankiness didn't pass within the usual few minute span, I started looking forward to having a grumpy day. I could frown and grumble at my computer and have a genuine "feel sorry for Lori Lyn" day. I got to work and was still grumpy, so I thought it might actually work to have a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Alas, my nature didn't allow that. Within a couple of hours I was feeling much happier. The grumpiness returned full force when it took me FOREVER to get home b/c the roads were awful and we were gridlocked. But as soon as I got home, I was happier again. Guess no terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day for me!

Wow, that is a wonderful trait to have. I wish I could snap out of grumpy moods that quick! You are no doubt a blessing to those around you with your cheerful disposition!

Oh, how I wish I had more of your nature to overcome these terrible, no good days so quickly. :)
