We made homemade wheat bread, and saved some of the dough for Navajo frybread. Yum!
I spent the night with my grandparents and helped them can applesauce. They let me bring some home!
I went to the farming community where my mom grew up and got to drink milk straight from the cow. It's so much better that way!
We went hunting for a Christmas tree in the mountains, followed by a cookout with hot dogs, chili and s'mores with lots of my cousins and aunts and uncles. Too bad I couldn't cut one down for myself and strap it to the top of the airplane!
The homemade bread and canned goods survived the flight home. Yeah!

What a fun trip. Did you actually pack bottled applesauce in your suitcase...and it made it?
