This one's for my mom

My mom asked me to blog about my inauguration day experience

I was able to watch the swearing in ceremonies via internet just fine in a big classroom. But then something interrupted the streaming just as Pres. Obama started his speech. That is the part I was most interested in. I rushed back to my office to get it on the internet without success. I even tried BBC. Finally, with about 1 minute to go, I realized I have a radio in my office for emergencies. I was quickly able to find the speech and listen to the last few seconds. My mom laughed when I told her that. We are in such a high-tech world, that we forget there are low-tech solutions.

Also, my mom wants to know what a papasan is. Here is a picture of my "double-wide" (I feel like I'm talking about a trailer home when I say this). I love it--it is so comfortable for reading or taking a nap. O and Q graciously agreed to model the papasan.
