Today finally came!

Today finally came. I've been preparing for this day for quite some time and am so glad it's here. I taught my very first genealogical lecture ever--to people who paid to attend the conference. It turned out really well--I enjoyed teaching and people enjoyed listening. I had a two hour lecture prepared and taught it in the morning and again in the afternoon. The participants had the option to leave after the first hour to hear other speakers and all but one stayed to hear me speak! I made some new friends and lost my voice after talking for 4 hours straight--all in all a good day!

Yea you! I knew you'd do well. I didn't volunteer to be in your practice audience because I'd just slow you down with my heckling! I hope you didn't have any hecklers.
