Feeling Inspired

I love General Conference Weekend. I found today's sessions especially inspiring to become a better person. I was working on a service project during conference. Our RS is putting together Christmas cards left blank inside to give to soldiers so they can send them to their families. My design is simple, but I used different types of textured paper to make them interesting. I really like how they turned out, so I plan to make more of these to send out to my friend and family this year.

I assembled these cards today, but created the design earlier this week. It was the first time I have done something creative in months. I usually spend my time doing statistics, history or genealogy--all of which are demanding, but not creative. It felt so good to use the creative side of my mind again. I was telling this to my sister and she reminded me of this video:

I love the cards you made! You have so many diverse talents. Conference is always one of my favorite times to feel re-energized. :)
