My dinner

I decided to cook tonight and chose to make spaghetti for dinner (I'm almost ashamed to admit that I consider spaghetti "cooking"). I had the pasta in to boil and some peas in the microwave before I realized I didn't have any spagehtti sauce. Did I eat the pasta anyway w/o any sauce? Yes I did. I wasn't about to let that cooking effort be wasted.

This happens to me a lot and is why I generally don't cook. Whenever I decide to spend more than 5 minutes pulling a meal together, I realize at the last minute a key ingredient is missing, or something else disastrous happens. Think I'll go back to burritos and canned soup--hard to miss a key ingredient for these staples.

spaghetti without sauce? You do need to add a few basic ingredients to your pantry. OH, It does make a great story...and I'm sure the peas were great too

I've done that before with spaghetti, so I ate it with a little butter and parmesan cheese.

So I love to have cooked noodles with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Plain noodles can really be yummy!
