Miracle

I was sorting through DVD's the other day and came across this one:

I remember thinking I should watch it again. Today I found this article on Mike Eruzione--the team captain who scored the winning goal against the Russians almost 30 years ago at the Olympics. I saw this movie when it first came out, and Mr. Eruzione was in the audience, although I didn't realize that until somebody pointed him out to me after the show. I think it's movie time!

I love this movie! My favorite part is when the coach is making them do tons of laps until one of them finally says "I play for the United States of America." I didn't explain it well, but if you just watched it you'll know what I mean. :)

That movie is one of my favorites. I just asked a friend last night if she had seen it (we were talking about the upcoming winter olympics).

Cynthia--I know exactly which part you are talking about. It's one of my favorites too. And, if I remember correctly, the person who said that in the movie is Mike Eruziono.
