Yesterday I treated myself to a milk chocolate caramel toffee candy from the local chocolatier. The caramel was a bit too stiff, but otherwise it was excellent. I'll definitely be visiting them again, Good think the $2 price tag for just one piece of candy will help limit my visits, which will be good for my waistline.
Today I made chicken pot pie. I'm not much of a cook (mostly b/c by the time I get home at the end of the day I'm exhausted and just want something quick). It turned out quite well. I think I'll be branching out some more with some new recipes.

The chocolate looked good, but I think the pot pie looked even better.
I love chicken pot pie, especially when it is cold outside.
