Vancouver, Canada

I went to Vancouver, Canada for a stats convention this week. I presented a poster on a training program we have developed to teach stats and research to clinicians. The convention center is right on the water and we had a great view of the water and the mountains. I wish I had a car out there so I could drive into the mountains--there wasn't a lot to do without a car. But it is a beautiful city. Here are some of my favorite pics:

The convention center was right on the water. One of my favorite things to do between talks was watch the sea planes land and take off.

Canada Place is a nice place to be and is just a few feet from the convention center. Many of the cruise ships to Alaska leave from here.
