For my AZ friends & family

Some of my family and friends in Arizona and New Mexico have commented that they can't even imagine 6 feet of snow. We don't actually have 6 feet of snow on the ground as some of it has melted, but there are a good 2-3 feet currently on the ground, with another 6-12 inches forecast mid-week (plus maybe another storm for the weekend). I went out yesterday with my camera to show what it looks like here.

The black lines you can see in front of the tree are the tops of the backrests of benches.

Snow on a lake.

The blue entrance sign for a fast-foot restaurant is almost buried in piles of snow.

View down a side street

These icicles are wicked-long. They looked about 4 feet long.
