Global Warming

This editorial in today's Boston Globe describes my opinion about global warming. As a statistician, I am concerned when global warming assessments are only done based on the past 100 years or so. Global warming or climate change are based on a much larger time frame, say hundreds or thousands of years, and the data must be examined in those time frames to obtain an accurate assessment. That said, I strongly believe we are stewards of this earth and need to use her resources wisely, as well as protect her.
