My nephew T seems to collects knots in his shoelaces. He had some pretty bad knots tonight, so I used a fork to untie them. I don't think he believed I could really do it with a fork. When I showed him the knot-free shoelaces he was pretty excited. He ran to his mom and said "She did it with a fork!" The excitement in his voice was equivalent to that of seeing something totally cool and unexpected. I was glad to oblige!
