Best (and most unusual) sleep aid ever!

Over the past few years I have had some issues with very early wakening (like at 4:00 am) and have tried all kinds of things to get back to sleep. You'll never guess what works best.

Psych--the USA network TV show.

I always keep a couple of episodes on my DVR. I had trouble going to sleep the other night, so I came out to my living room, turned on the TV/DVR and was asleep in 15 minutes. I woke up about an hour later and went right back to sleep in my bed.

So much better than medicine!

(And I do enjoy the show during normal waking hours--not sure why it is the only thing that will put me to sleep during "sleeping" hours)

We love that show! The kids pull it up on Netflix all the time!!!

I do this with King of the Hill.

I think it is because when I watch it my body relaxes and I've seen the show so many times that I don't really pay as close attention as I do for other shows.

It allows my body to relax and drift to sleep.
